On September 13, 2023 was the annual Chenoweth lecture and we explored the intersection of art, history, and social justice through the lens of acclaimed photographer Dawoud Bey and renowned interdisciplinary scholar Dr. Imani Perry. This thought-provoking conversation delves into Bey’s The Birmingham Project, which poignantly captures the lives and stories of individuals affected by the 16th Street Baptist Church bombing.
