The BMA hosted its 9th Annual Holi: A Festival of Color on March 9, 2019. Nearly 2,500 guests came out to enjoy this traditional Indian holiday, which celebrates the arrival of spring. During the event, guests took in classical Indian and Bollywood-style dance performances, engaged in hands-on art experiences, received authentic henna tattoos, and enjoyed incredible Indian food before gathering in the parking lot for the main event: the Throwing of the Colors.

This family-friendly program is always a BMA favorite. Don’t just take our word for it—the creative, colorful fun is best captured by our guests!

Holi may be over until next year’s welcoming of spring, but good times are always in bloom here at the BMA. Want to share your favorite photos with us? Tag @bhammuseum in your Museum posts!
