Tickets are now on sale for Heroes & Villains: The Art of the Disney Costume in partnership with the Walt Disney Archives and presented by PNC.

Comprised of 70 costumes spanning nearly half a century, this captivating show takes visitors on a journey into the enchanting worlds of Disney, highlighting the innovative ways some of the iconic characters are brought to life through the artistry and imagination of their costumes.

Premiering February 17, 2024, and running through August 18, 2024, the exhibition features a stunning collection of original works of art, including Captain Jack Sparrow’s pirate garb, Cruella De Vil’s fashionable frock, Cinderella’s glass slipper, and the Sanderson Sisters’ wicked wardrobe. Visitors will discover the craftsmanship behind exquisite ball gowns, majestic capes, intricate uniforms, dazzling tiaras, and more. These remarkable pieces provide a captivating glimpse into the creative process behind some of Disney’s most beloved characters.

Presented by PNC, with generous support from the Alabama Power Foundation, EBSCO Industries, Protective Life Foundation, Vulcan Materials Company and the Warner Foundation.

The BMA is dedicating Mondays for K-12 field trip groups of 30 students or more

ATTENTION K-12 EDUCATORS

Want to share Heroes and Villains: The Art of the Disney Costume with your students! Below is information on our different offerings and how to book.

  • MAGIC MONDAYS
    • Eligibility: Large school groups of 30 and above are eligible to visit us as part of our exclusive Magic Monday Field Trip Program.
    • Booking: Sign up via the Field Trip tile located on the last line of our Disney ticketing site.
    • Chaperones: As a reminder, we require 1 chaperone for every 15 students.
  • SMALL CLASS
    • Availability: School groups of 30 students or less may book on any day of the week except for Mondays
    • Booking: Sign up via our Disney ticketing site by clicking on the month you wish to visit.
    • Group Discount: Groups of 10 or more will receive a discount.
    • Chaperones: As a reminder, we require 1 chaperone for every 15 students.
  • ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
    • Do you teach at a Title 1 school? Complete the application form to gain access to additional discounts, including bus funding, thanks to the generosity of the Alabama Power Foundation.
