Artist-manipulated digitally reproduced photograph by C.M. (Charles Milton) Bell; subject is Peelatchixaaliash / Old Crow (Raven) seated, partial figure, three-quarter view, one arm up. Elements of regalia outlined in red, and text annotations in red radiate from figure.
Halibut hook (two part). The barb arm is of spruce with rusty iron barb. The carved arm is cottonwood representing "Hoosh-ta" the otter. The carving is recent, on an old piece of wood. The figure faces the barb, contrary to the usual practice - in part it seems the work of an amatuer.
Flat handle, amber.
Old. Ragged edge. Top plain twisted.
