A young woman is seated at right with her right arm resting on a table with red tablecloth. Her knitting is on the table and the ball of yarn is on the floor. A cabinet with dishes is on the wall between the couple. A door is at far right and a straw bonnet and plaid shawl hang from a peg to the left of the door.
