Unravel the intricate art of storytelling through the lens of costuming in our panel discussion, “Storytelling through Costuming.” This program will spotlight the craft behind character creation and theatrical narrative, featuring a diverse panel of experts. Sharon Morgan, the creative force behind UAB’s state-of-the-art Costume Studio, brings her vast experience in theatrical costume design. April Bonasera, known for her role as a pattern technician and as a sewer for film and television, shares her expertise in cutting, fitting, and specialized methods of costume construction that breathe life into stories. Our final panelist, Carron Clark Morgan, has a rich background that spans from being a props buyer for Paramount Pictures to a celebrated costume designer in the film industry. Carron has spent the last decade working in various capacities from local commercials to multimillion-dollar feature films.
