Art On The Rocks is back! Don’t miss the biggest art party in Birmingham featuring a concert by Grammy-winning artist Eric Bellinger.

Since 2005, Art On The Rocks has enlivened downtown by bringing the best of Birmingham’s creative community to the BMA for an exciting night of artful entertainment. Join us this year for live music, DJs, an interactive mural, and much more as we bring this popular event back to the Magic City for one night only!

If it’s not on social, did it even happen? Capture your night from all the right angles at our 360 Photobooth, located in the outdoor sculpture garden.

Looking for a place to sit or a shorter bar line? Come chill with us in the Garden Lounge, located between the outdoor sculpture garden and Upper Plaza. DJ Steve-O sets the vibe and Culture to Create has imagined a Tik Tok worthy photo opp.

Paper Doll Bar

Known for creative craft cocktails and chic ambiance, Paper Doll brings its magic to Art On The Rocks with a satellite bar, where they’ll be mixing specialty cocktails featuring Tito’s Handmade Vodka.

Dance Performance

The Bham Beat Bullyz are a hip-hop dance collective that pushes the boundaries of street dance and feeds off energy from their audience with their body bending moves.

Interactive Mural with Rico Gatson 

Create a work of art alongside renowned artist Rico Gatson, whose BMA commission will feature Civil Rights legend, Rev. Fred Shuttlesworth. Part of the project, Wall to Wall presented by PNC, this work brings the past into the present with help from our Art On The Rocks guests.

7 - 11 // Arrington Gallery

Art Installation / Dance Party

Become part of a work of art when you step into Surround, an art installation that is also a dance party! Immerse yourself in a darkened space filled with music, dancing and light projections. From leaders of Vinegar, a nonprofit contemporary art gallery here in Birmingham: Fen Kennedy, Ann Trondson, and Melissa Yes, with students from the UA Department of Theatre and Dance.

Dance Performance

Head out to the Upper Plaza to see another performance by the The Bham Beat Bullyz, a hip-hop dance collective that pushes the boundaries of street dance and feeds off energy from their audience with their body bending moves.

Glam UP! We’ve got a couple of Birmingham’s fiercest and finest queens coming out to entertain guests with a series of glamorous performances.

Eric Bellinger

You may have caught him sharing the stage with Usher this summer, but at Art On The Rocks, Grammy award-winning artist Eric Bellinger will deliver a show-stopping solo performance. With collaborations with artists like Justin Bieber, Brandy, and Jennifer Hudson, Eric Bellinger is an R&B songwriting veteran who is now hitting his stride as a performer.

The Party Lot is located outside of the bottom floor lobby in the parking lot.
