The LaVona Rushton Concert Series is a prestigious celebration of classical music, hosted annually at our museum. This extraordinary series showcases world-renowned pianists, hand-picked in collaboration with The Cliburn, renowned for their exceptional talent and profound interpretations of the classical repertoire. The LaVona Rushton Concert Series at the Birmingham Museum of Art is delighted to present Dmytro Choni, a distinguished pianist and 2022 Cliburn Bronze Medalist. Esteemed for his vibrant artistry and engaging stage presence, Choni brings his interpretations of classical masterpieces to life in an evening that showcases the depths of piano literature. Join us in this celebration of classical music for a performance that promises to linger in memory well beyond the final chord. We also invite you to join us prior to the concert at 6:30pm for coffee and light bites available in the auditorium lobby.
