Black basalt vase of ovoid shape, Keith Murray shape 3870, with engine-turned ribbing on the body.
Oval blue jasper plaque with white relief of Euterpe, broken in several pieces. The modelling of Euterpe is attributed to John Flaxman Jr in around 1778. Wedgwood owned some muses figures which were created by Bouchardon from 1770. However it was not until 1777 that he decided to produce them so he requested Bentley to commission Flaxman to produce some more to complete the set.
Small molded caneware teapot, barrel shaped, the lower body fluted with a band around the middle, the main body with Bacchanalian scenes featuring young boys or putti figures, the loop handle and slightly curved spout molded to resemble bamboo poles, with a band of bamboo molding around the upper edge, the conforming cover with similar fluting and bent bamboo finial.
Beer tap handle of white jasper with light blue jasper dip, of bulbous shape, the end of the handle decorated with acanthus leaves, then below a white band on one side a floral garland supported by two paterae and on the other the figure of Apollo standing between a tree stump and a tree with his lyre.
