Jar with cover with incised cloud and floral designs.
A classic incense burner demonstrating the later tradition of rich decoration in Vietnamese ceramic production. The piece includes appliquéd decorations, cream-colored glaze and an assembly of various parts. Many of the known incense burners from this period are so close in style that they must have come from the same workshop, or perhaps even the same potter.
