Lone Star quilt
Large, irregularly-shaped and pinched vessel composed of fused glass threads primarily in red, but with splotches of black, green and yellow, the threads are visible on the surface and give it a "stringy" appearance, the interior is bright orange.
Large, colorful album quilt comprised of 42 blocks of applique on solid cotton, each made by a different quilter in a different design, the blocks include flowers and floral motifs based on Alabama native flora, in the center is the United States flag, appearing to flutter gently in a light breeze, bearing 30 stars, the backing a plain muslin.
