Oval tri-color jasper (sage green, dark blue, and white) cameo, two-sided with white relief figure of warrior on one side and woman with stag on the other
A soft-paste porcelain plate with scalloped edge decorated in the Imari style with the "Old Japan Fan" pattern, with underglaze blue and overglaze red and green "fans" highlighted in gold on each of the four sides, and with four blue roundels with gold highlights in between, in the center is a large chrysanthemum motif in gold with a red and green center and blue band around, on the underside of the rim is a pattern of trailing floral vines in blue with red floral motifs.
Oval medallion with relief profile portrait of Le Princesse de Lamballe (1749-1792), Daughter of the Prince de Savoie-Carignano. Married Stanislaus, Prince de Lambelle in 1767 with him dying a year later. Marie Antoinette made her superintendent of the household with a relationship and intimate companionship which was interpreted as lesbian in anti royalist lampoons emanating from the Palais Royal. She escaped to England in 1791, she later returned to Paris to share the Queen's imprisonment in the Temple, Refusing to take an oath against the monarchy she was lynched, her head paraded on a spike and her heart eaten.
