Vase of reddish-brown stoneware, the chunky body resting on three square feet, the neck short, the lip slightly flared, with three rings extending from lip to shoulder, the body with molded decoration in relief with on one side the image of a man, or warrior, on his knees, his knife drawn and raised in his right hand, his left arm outstretched, on the other a pouncing lion in a landscape, perhaps referring to the story of Hercules and the Nemean lion, the vase is covered with a thick, opaque, turquoise glaze with darker blue streaks over a white glaze, the foot mostly white.
Solid light blue jasper vase with white jasper relief decoration, the so-called Michelangelo vase because the model is based on designs after the Italian artist Michelangelo, shape number 180, the vase or bowl with applied white floral festoons and arabesque floral motifs mounted atop the backs of three molded, white jasper classical figures draped in blue jasper, who appear to support the weight of the bowl, with a fluted column in the middle as support, on a triangular base.
Covered urn of solid white jasper with green jasper dip and applied white and light blue jasper relief decoration, the square plinth with anthemion motifs all around, the urn on round foot with band of overlapping acanthus leaves around the edge, the stem with acanthus leaves, the lower body engine turned in a checkerboard pattern with white squares and green ones, with applied light blue quatrefoils in the white squares, the main body decorated with the Dancing Hours below a band of festoons, with two scrolled handles, the shoulder and neck with acanthus leaves, the cover with ball finial.
