Miniature covered container, or box, of white jasper with dark blue jasper relief, the box with tiny relief scenes including, a classical group, Hebe and the Eagle, a pair of standing classical figures, and classical figures with a horse, on the cover the scene of Cupid as Oracle with a rose border around the edge.
Assembled, solid blue jasper tea service on tray with applied white jasper relief decoration, consisting of a tea canister, teapot, creamer, covered sugar bowl, waste bowl, and two cups and saucers, .1) oval tray with a raised edge decorated with a white acanthus leaf border, in the center an oval medallion with a sunflower; .2a-b) tea canister of solid light blue jasper with a darker blue dip, bulbous body on a round foot with a laminated white band around it, the body with the figures of cupids at play and a band of overlapping acanthus leaves around the shoulder, with beading below the upper lip, the cover a marriage; .3) waste bowl engine-turned on the lower body, the upper body decorated with figures of baby cupids at play in various pursuits, with a white laminated band around the foot; .4) creamer helmet shaped with curved handle, the round foot with a laminated white band and acanthus leaves, the body decorated with cupid figures at play, the handle with margent and an applied shell terminal; .5a-b) covered sugar bowl on round foot with laminated white band around it, the body decorated with cupids at play, the conforming domed cover with a band of acanthus leaves and stiff leaf motifs, with ball finial with a white band around it; .6a-b) teapot decorated with the same playful cupids along with a pair of girls from the "Domestic Employment" series, the lower body engine-turned, with leaf-molded spout and loop handle with leafy terminal, the conforming cover with stiff leaf motifs and ball finial with white band around it; .7a-b) cup and saucer the cup with engine-turned lower body and the same playful cupids and girls around the main body, with leaf-molded loop handle, the interior lapidary polished, the saucer likewise engine turned and with a band of overlapping acanthus leaves around the edge; .8a-b) cup and saucer the cup with engine-turned lower body and the same playful cupids and girls around the main body, with leaf-molded loop handle, the interior lapidary polished, the saucer likewise engine turned and with a band of overlapping acanthus leaves around the edge.
