Pair of tall, gilt-bronze candlesticks in the Neo-Byzantine style, each resting on four regal-looking, stylized winged panthers, with square columnar stems decorated with brightly-colored enamel in the cloisonné technique in a pattern of scrolls and leaf motifs, the top and base of the stem with gadrooning highlighted in blue enamel, with four bearded masks at the top of the stem supporting an urn shaped candle nozzle that is likewise decorated with bright enamel in the cloisonné technique and with a band of gadrooning highlighted in blue at the upper edge.
