Covered teapot of black basalt with red and yellow-white enamel decoration, the body cylindrical with ear-shaped handle and straight spout, around the upper body and on the cover a band of honeysuckle and bell design in red and yellow with a wreath around the spout, the rest of the teapot edged in red, with Sybil or widow finial, the interior glazed and with pierced strainer.

Oval medallion of white jasper with green dip and white bas relief of Poor Maria – a young woman seated under a tree, weeping, with a small dog – mounted in a steel bracelet, the medallion held to the face with prongs, the surrounding border engraved with crosshatching and on either side a simple flower with leafy motifs, the band is attached to the face with hinges and is engraved with a stippled border and on either side a triangle with similar leafy motifs, with adjustable hook and chain clasp.
Small teapot of buff-colored caneware molded to resemble a series of bamboo stalks, the slightly curved spout likewise molded to resemble bamboo, the loop handle also, the conforming cover with a band of bamboo around the edge and a bamboo finial, the interior is glazed.
