This gelatin silver print shows a street view of New Orleans. The image is centered on a jazz musician who is playing his saxophone. Around him people are seen walking down the street heading in both directions. A laundromat and bar are in view on the left side of the street.

In this round print in black ink on paper, two centrally located figures work to produce maple sugar. While the figure on the right carries to buckets with a yolk at his neck, the figure at the left dumps the same type of bucket into a larger vessel. Behind this figure at the left are two oxen yolked to move the larger vessel. In the background (behind the group) is a barn, a maple tree tapped to produce maple syrup, and partially visible trees. At the bottom of thep rint is a small still life that incldues maple leaves and implements used in the production of maple syrup.
