In central square panel the Neue Wache in Berlin, designed 1817-18 by Karl Friedrich Schinkel and the cast-iron bridge over the Operngraben; in the upper left corner a monument in the form of an obelisk for Johann Gottlieb Fichte, erected at the Oranienburger Tor cemetery in Berlin; in the lower left corner a monument for Count Wilhelm von Schwerin in the Krekow church; at right a monument in the form of a tall obelisk with four lions on the base for the Russian Prince Kutusow, erected in Bunzlau, designed by Schinkel, the lions after models by Johann Gottfried Schadow.
