Part of an assembled tea service (not originally a set) in the Fan Pattern, derived from Japanese Imari or Arita ware
Round creamware dinner plate with petal-shaped rim decorated in monochrome sepia enamel with a hand painted scene of St. Briavels Castle in Gloucestershire, England, from the east, within a border of false gadroons, the rim of the plate has a garland of oak leaves and acorns around its perimeter with a central shield-shaped cartouche within which a stylized, green-enameled frog, with a small band of sepia enamel on the edge of the rim.
Large potpourri vase of green jasper dip with white jasper relief decoration, resting on square plinth decorated with a floral motifs, the round foot with applied white jasper relief decoration that includes ribbon molding and lotus motifs, the lower body with a band of scroll molding, the main body decorated with four small beaded reserves within which are four winged Zephyr figures, the body also decorated with in high relief large rams' heads supporting heavy floral garlands and margents suspended from ribbons, the pierced cover with a band of egg and dart motifs and pinecone final, a second flat cover of white jasper with a button finial lies inside.
Louis XVI mantel clock set with six plaques of soft-paste porcelain, each decorated with brightly colored enamels in imitation of jewels in a pattern of scrolls and foliage in green, turquoise, red, and gold on a white ground, the plaques fit into a plinth-shaped gilt-bronze frame flanked by four rock crystal Corinthian columns with gilt-bronze capitals and surmounted by draped urn finials, on top a large, central rock crystal classical urn draped with gilt-bronze garlands, the blue enamel clock face surrounded by a white enamel dial is mounted with two gilt-bronze classical figures with bells and mythological motifs, the base with scrolling foliage on four flattened bun feet
