A man is chained in the center of the composition. Two elegantly dressed women are pleading with men of the court. Armed officials stand in the background. A gossiping audience is seen on the right and left of the room.
The Madonna holds the Christ Child in her arms. The Child hugs her neck. Two saints depicted in a smaller scale than the Madonna stand on either side of her halo.
