Deep, round, footed bowl of red earthenware, the sides are decorated with an alternating pattern of horizontal lines and stylized sheaves of wheat, the bright blue glaze of the body (the foot is left unglazed) pools in the crevices of the design to leave the color of the clay visible on the raised portions, the glaze also thins at the rim to reveal the color of the clay beneath.
Obverse: Emblems of agriculture and commerce with Brunswick's coat of arms. Reverse: A baby in the arms of an angel.
