Bust of the English poet, playwright and politician Joseph Addison (1672-1719) in black basalt made in one mold with hollow body and flat back, the socle square with bombay front and small reserve in which the name ADDISON and with a Greek key border along the lower edge, Addison depicted with short hair in civilian dress with loose shirt with open collar and embroidered jacket, with drapery that features embroidered trim.
Lilac and white jasperware rectangular box with cover with various classical scenes to lid and sides. On cover is the scene of Icarus and Daedalus, to the sides are scenes of cupids in various poses.
Custard cup of "tear" or "comma" shape of solid dark blue jasper with white relief decoration in a lattice pattern.
Large bowl on smallish round foot, the body constructed of different thin slabs of clay which overlap to form the bowl creating an irregular, somewhat pointy but graceful body, glazed in various mottled shades of brown, tan, ocher, and gray green.
