This bronze bust is a small replica of the first sculpture Moretti carved from white Alabama marble, quarried in Talladega County. The original sculpture, now in the collection of the Alabama Department of Archives and History in Montgomery, was exhibited along with Vulcan at the 1904 Louisiana Purchase Exposition in St. Louis, Missouri.
