Teapot of solid white jasper with dark blue jasper dip and applied white and green jasper relief decoration, the teapot body cylindrical and engine turned on body, shoulder and neck to create a blue and white checkerboard pattern with applied green quatrefoil motifs on the white squares, with a band of ivy leaves and ribbon running horizontally just below the shoulder, with white molded spout with a shell motif as terminal underneath and a white leaf-molded handle, the inset cover likewise engine turned in a checkerboard pattern with a band of acanthus leaves and beading around the teardrop finial, which has a band of the same alternating blue and white checkerboard squares with green quatrefoils around the middle.
