Covered, urn-shaped vase of white stoneware resting on a plain, square base of black basalt, the foot of the vase with a band of white overlapping leaves that show traces of glaze residue that adds brown highlights to the leaves, the main body covered with an opaque variegated glaze in shades of brown, green, cream and black, with two white satyr mask handles whose horns curve around to link to the lip of the vase, likewise with traces of glaze residue that serves to highlight details in the masks, with curved shoulder and long neck, the slightly domed cover with ball finial.
