This large wooden sculpture in a mid-tone brown color is a large log resting horizontally and partially split both front-to-back and side-to-side. It rests on a base that appears to be made of the same wood.
This painting represents a view of a valley. Rocky, treeless mountains rise to the left and right size of the canvas, with sandy, yellow-brown ground, trees, and shrubs in the foreground. The purple and gray mountains are shrouded in mist and recede into the background.
