Chatelaine of cut steel, the large steel hook set with an octagonal medallion of solid dark blue jasper with white jasper bas relief of a standing classical figure next to a column holding a mirror in her left hand and surrounded by a stiff leaf border, on either side large, round beaded florettes of cut steel from which extend three chains united on one side by a similar round beaded element and on the other by a hook, from the beaded element extend four additional chains, two of which end in beaded tassels, one has attached a round solid blue jasper medallion with white jasper bas relief of on one side "Hebe and the Eagle" and on the other a striding classical figure set into a seal, and the last has attached a round solid blue jasper medallion with white jasper bas relief of on one side Hebe and the Eagle and on the other a group of classical figures at an altar set into a key; attached to the hook on the other side is a small, delicate tooled gold book with ivory leaves.
