Pair of candle holders in the form of Egyptian sphinxes on plain rectangular bases, each with pair of wings stretched out on their sides and wearing an Egyptian-style headdress, with a lotus-shaped candle holder extending from the center of each sphinx's back.

The vase is heavy and has a cylindrical form with a tapered base. The exterior decorated with interspersed dimensional bands. In the center of the vase's body are impressed bands flanking a repeated 's' design imprinted into the form that intersect to create varying shapes. The interior is glazed dark red/plum.
Creamware teapot molded and shaped to resemble a tree stump, with curved branch handle and spout, in high relief on one side a seated couple in a landscape [Hebe and her lover], the man offering a nest full of eggs to the woman in his outstretched left hand, above them an unrolled scroll with the words FAIR HEBE and additional illegible script, on the other side the portrait medallion of a man [William Shenstone] below the name SHENSTONE and two cherubs underneath placing laurel and acanthus leaves on a wreath surrounding the medallion, overall highlighted with green, blue and brown glazes on cream, the conforming flat cover with leaf and branch finial.
