She wears a black jacket and white shirt. The chair sits in the corner of a worn room, and behind the chair a lamp rises above the woman’s head, crowned with a mirrored, fringed lamp shade.
This black and white photograph represents a coastal landscape. The coast stretches across the bottom right of the image and is rocky, with a dead tree in the center. A body of water stretches beyond the coast, and distant mountains can be seen. The top third of the image is sky.
