Miniature commemorative spill vase of cylindrical shape of white jasper with dark blue jasper dip and white relief decoration, on one side the portrait bust of Josiah Wedgwood with the name JOSIAH WEDGWOOD and dates 1730-1795 in banners below, on the other the coat of arms of the Wedgwood baronetcy Gules four Mullets in Cross and a Canton Argent and on a Ducal Coronet a Lion passant Argent with the motto "Obstantia Discindo" (I split asunder obstacles) in a banner below.
