Oval dark blue jasper medallion with white relief profile portrait of Napoleon (1769-1821) facing left wearing a laurel wreath. Napoleon was the French Emperor reigning between (1804-1814) before taking control of Italy between 1805 and 1814.He was banished to Saint Helena where he died of cancer of the stomach with his body being returned tio Paris in 1840, 19 years after his death to be placed in the crypt of the Invalides.

Cup of solid lilac jasper with applied white jasper relief decoration, the lower body engine-turned, the upper body with a series of cupids at play, with loop handle, the associated saucer likewise of solid lilac jasper with applied white jasper relief decoration of overlapping acanthus leaves around the well, the underside engine turned.
Vase with cylindrical, slightly waisted form. The exterior is decorated with some indented bands that vary in width wrapped around the vase, mostly on the bottom half or near the lip of the vase. It has a mustard/tan body that is decorated with painterly brushes of brown and black, some with a veinlike design in them. Near the base and lip are bands of brown with a rougher texture. The bottom of the base is not glazed. The interior is decorated with a black and green irregular glaze.
