In this black and white, round-format print, the scene is dominated by a wooden armature surroudning the ribs of a ship that is under construction. Five figures work throughout the composition on building the ship--three on the ground and two on the portion of the armature at the back right of the composition. At the bottom of the print is a still life that includes tools related to ship building, including wood and woodworking implements.
This ink drawing on paper represents a a tall bridge seen from a low angle that leaves the bridge dominating the composition. From this perspective, the viewer sees the supports of the bridge and its underside, but not the road above. The bridge is surrounded by roughly represented vegetation, and in the upper left of the composition clouds are represented in the sky.
This black and white photograph represents a domestic building on an empty street. Powerlines cross above the building, a street corner can be seen in the distance, and a fence with a door can be see in the foreground to its right.
