A color photograph of a fruit bearing pear tree covering most of the picture frame. Small portions of the sky are visible in the top portion of the photograph. To the right portion are dark storm clouds coming in, while between the leaves the left portion of the sky is covered in light and white clouds. Tree branches are hanging low full of ripe pears, while the grassy ground near the tree has many fallen ripened pears. The tree trunk has a simple joist barrier around it. In the grassy field some other trees are visible in the distance.
This black and white photograph shows four men on the deck of a ferry boat in the lower portion of the image. Two sit on a bench reading newspapers at the left, while two others stand at the right, looking over the side of the boat. In the distance behind them is a bridge that is under construction.
