This landscape painting represents an expansive scene with two dogs on a foreground shore, and two men in a rowboat at the edge of a body of water heavily overgrown with water grasses. There are trees in the left foreground and behind the men, as well as an open body of water. On the bank of land across the body of water is a home situated in a landscape that includes low, rolling mountains.
This black and white photograph represents a closely cropped image of a white woman's face. She looks to her left. The top of her head is cropped out of the image, but a bright piece of jewelry can be seen in her hair (or possibly on a hat). She wears a large diamond and pearl earring on her right ear and a three-strand pearl necklace. The right shoulder of her dark coat can be seen in the lower left of the image.
This drawing in graphite on paper represents a tangle of roots that are represented without any indication of a broader natural setting. Within the roots there is also graphite shading, and there is shading around the root system, as well. Overall the impression of the composition is abstract.
