 Walking Tour of Avondale Neighborhood

Join the Junior Patrons on a walking tour of the exciting, revitalized Avondale neighborhood.  Stroll through a few blocks of the district with Avondale historian and author, Catherine Greene Brown, stop in local shops and art galleries, and end the tour at Avondale Brewery for refreshments and entertainment.

Get a double dose of Birmingham’s best culture in one night!

Join the Junior Patrons and Opera Birmingham’s Amici young patron group to enjoy a night of breathtaking music surrounded by exquisite artwork. 

Enjoy a selection of arias performed by Opera Birmingham’s principal singers of the soon-to-be-opened opera, Carmen, listen to classical guitar music between the arias, enjoy Spanish tapas and sangria, take a tour of the Museum’s exquisite European art collection, and even get your fortune read!

Private Contemporary Art Home Tour

Join the Junior Patrons as we visit the home of two of the Museum’s greatest friends and supporters, Robin and Carolyn Wade.  This gorgeous home is filled with some of the quirkiest and most extravagant pieces of contemporary art in the Southeast.

Expect the unexpected as you tour the beautiful rooms in this house.  Enjoy light appetizers, wine and beer, music, and spectacular functional and non-functional art throughout the home.

Join Birmingham’s young professionals as the Junior Patrons of the Birmingham Museum of Art, Rotaract Club, and the Birmingham Bar Young Lawyers Section host a celebration of the groundbreaking photography exhibition, Who Shot Rock & Roll: A Photographic History 1955 to the Present!

Kick off your work shoes and let out your inner rock star with complimentary food, drinks, and live music in the Museum’s picturesque sculpture garden!

Architecture Tour of Downtown Birmingham!

May 12, 5:30pm - 7:30pm

It's back by popular demand. And this time, we're headed downtown!

Join the Junior Patrons on a Walking Architecture Tour of some of the most exquisite and historical buildings in Birmingham.

Led by two of Birmingham's leading architectural historians, the tour will conclude at sunset with refreshing drinks and hors d'oeuvres.
