Cocktails on the Crest
Thursday, April 18th, 6-9pm
2345 Crest Road, Birmingham, AL 35223

Join the Junior Patrons of the Birmingham Museum of Art for an insider look at one of Red Mountain's most beautiful historical homes - The Cobb-Henley-Serra Home.  Built around 1915, this gorgeous home was thoughtfully renovated and restored to its original glory by the current homeowners.  Marvel at the sprawling city views, architectural details as well as the extensive collection of antique furniture and art.  Listen to stories of the renovations and the rich history while enjoying light hor d'oeuvres, wine, and beer and mingling with Junior Patrons throughout the home and gardens of this unique private estate.

Local author and historian Cathy Adams will share her knowledge about the house as well as others in the Redmont area. Cathy wrote Worthy of Remembrance: A History of Redmont Alabama (Birmingham), which was published in 2002.  This opportunity to tour the house with such a local history buff is truly a unique opportunity not to be missed!
