Hearts for Art

/ Uncategorized

Ready to fall in love with art? It’s almost time for Hearts for Art at the BMA!
The Hearts for Art project began six years ago at the Oakland Museum of California and Columbus Museum of Art. Since then, museums across the country, including the BMA, have joined in.
From February 1–February 14, you’re invited to show some love by placing a paper heart on the floor in front of your artwork crush in the galleries. Hearts will be available at both Museum entrances. Just be sure to keep your heart an arm’s length away from the artwork and turn off your flash before taking a picture. If you post your photos on social media, please tag #heartsforart and @bhammuseum. We’ll repost a few of our favorites!
