Programs:

Workshops // Join Shekinah Lee of the wellness organization Purposed Joy for a virtual self-care workshop to help unlock your inner superpowers! Use your art kit to participate in this guided self-reflection activity. Then explore a fun exercise with the Beautiful Bodies of Birmingham Project!

Tunes // Celebrate women’s contributions to history, culture, and society with a virtual DJ set by DJ Dolly featuring artists like Beyonce, Dua Lipa, & SZA.

Art Kits // Be one of the first 50 people to register and receive a special themed art kit inspired by the work of Mickalene Thomas, whose work Kiss Me and I’ll Kiss You Back (from the Brawling Spitfire Wrestling series) is currently in our All Things Bright and Beautiful exhibition. This kit will include all the materials you need to create your own artwork, supplies for the activities associated with the other virtual programs, and ingredients for a custom drink mix crafted by Queen’s Park bartender, Allie Phifer.

Pick up will be Tuesday, March 2; Wednesday, March 3; and Thursday, March 4 at the security desk at the museum’s parking lot entrance. We will be in touch with registrants for additional details.
