Squat baluster-form body painted with lotus scrolls, pointed leaves around the wide neck, and a band of vertical brush strokes around the foot
Tall vase with a splayed foot that swells to a broad shoulder that is topped with a long flaring neck and an open mouth. Piece is decorated in underglaze blue and red with prunus branches in full bloom with pale red flowers. The pattern within the freely painted blue is called Ice Crackle due to it resemblance to cracked ice. Interior is simple white glaze. Foot is glazed with no marks.
