In this black and white photograph, a street and sidewalk are seen from above. Two vehicles are parked on the street, and a number of figures occupy the sidewalk. Some of the figures are shoe shiners, with shoe shining stands and chairs near the curb, and others are passersby. One man is seated, having his shoes shined by another man. A metal girder is seen in the foreground of the image, holding up what could be a train track next to the post for a street light. On the lower half of the post, two signs hang. One includes an image of an arrow pointing right and reads “TERMINAL.”
