- Signature Incised into the pâte-sur-pâte on side one lower right signed and dated L Solon 84
- Marks On the underside printed in gold the Minton's factory globe and crown mark with in a banner below T GOODE & CO and below this LONDON Impressed on the underside the name MINTONS and the date mark for 1883 with two additional impressed marks (one resembling the date mark 1869) and an applied canvas label with the number 5688 Molded into the design of each handle between the two masks the Minton's factory globe mark.
