A pair of folding screens, each comprised of two panels, depict waterfalls and vegetation.
Weaving Silk (.12, recto); Playing Samisen Tsudzumi (.13, verso), Attributed to Kusakabe Kimbei, hand-colored albumen prints mounted to album page
Slightly conical form with angular shoulder top with a dish mouth, supported on splayed footring; free of decoration, covered in whitish glaze; gritty footring from firing. Nice weight. Five glaze deposit spotting around shoulder.
