Small asparagus shell of white soft-paste porcelain with low vertical, scalloped sides that taper towards one end, open at both ends to allow bundles of asparagus spears to be contained inside, the interior printed in underglaze blue in the "Fisherman" or "Pleasure Boat" pattern, above and below the printed scene a border of small blue square elements with a white dot in the middle above a repeating C-scroll and dot pattern, the exterior and interior sides with a similar repeating geometric pattern.
Covered urn of solid white jasperware with slightly irregular light blue jasper dip and applied white jasper relief decoration, of calyx krater shape, resting on a square plinth decorated with anthemion motifs around the sides, the round foot with applied white egg and dart motifs and fluting, with egg and dart motifs on the protruding stem, the lower body with gadrooning and two stout, molded handles, the main body with applied white jasper figures of the Muses, with an overhanging lip decorated with egg and dart motifs and a band of laurel leaves and berries, under the overhanging lip is a band of grape vines, the conforming cover with acanthus leaf and lotus motifs and teardrop finial.
Frieze tablet of solid light blue jasper with applied white jasper relief decoration of three draped Muses on the left, Calliope, Muse of Epic Poetry, leaning on a column, Polymnia, Muse of Sacred Poetry, with a book in her raised hand, and Euterpe, Muse of Lyric Poetry, with two horns, all on a thin ground, on the right the scene of Cupid in a Chariot Drawn by Lions, likewise on a thin ground.
