Black basalt bowl with a turned body, spherical form and tapered base. The exterior is decorated with small bands of stamped designs of repeating ovals or designs resembling twisted rope along the center of the form. The exterior outside of the stamped band features interspersed/alternating plain dimensional bands around the form. The rim of the bowl has a slightly pronounced lip and the bowl's interior is glazed.

The woman is seated with her knees up wearing a white blouse with blue sash and a red skirt, she plays a recorder while the man leans against her legs, he wears a white tunic and green vest; with blue cloud-like smudges in the sky.
