This black and white photograph represents an arial view of a tide pool and sandbars. In the lower right corner is a rock formation. The sand break creates a semicircle in the image where the light hits.
This drawing in pencil on paper is divided into two scenes by a vertical line just right of the center of the sheet. In the scene on the left, figures are quickly sketched in an interior. There is an arched doorway on the back wall, a light squre in the ceiling, and roughly sketched architectural elements defining an interior space. In the scene on the right, a street or alley lined with buildings is quickly sketched. Buildings flank the road to the left and right, receding into space, and a tree is visible at the upper right.
