A black and white photograph featuring detail of overlapping portions of advertisements or posters. The top portion of the photograph shows large 3d letters “I” and “N”, parts of the poster show surface texture as short vertical lines and other parts are ripped to reveal subtle signs of the brick wall underneath. In the middle portion are remains of a pixelated printed poster showing a pair of bare woman’s legs. The bottom portion of the image shows the word “AND” in all capitalized letters.

In this black and white photograph, a smiling African American man wearing a suit and tie sits, holding the comics section of a newspaper between his knees. There is a long diagonal crease that moves into the image from the upper left corner, and there is intermittent pink-red spotting on the left half of the image.
This image is created with black ink on paper. It represents the partial façade of a building, which is cut off by the left and top edges of the sheet. A sidewalk moves into the scene from the foreground to the middle ground, with trees lining it on either side.
