This rhombus-like sculpture is composed of wood, fabric, and paint. It is composed of sections of patterned and solid fabrics sewn together in quilt patterns resembling bowties. The sections of bow ties are trimmed to fit the shapes of the rhombus. They are serged on each side with brown thread and the faces of each section are covered in silver leaf. The verso of the work is a piece of rectangular wood with 4 holes for hanging along the perimeter of the rectangle. There is a sticker in the lower third that contains the details of the work, biography information for the artist, and information for the gallery Monique Meloche. Several inches above the sticker there’s a piece of blue tape that says “size A with silver leaf quilt= SSbf mat oll SLEIf=SSBOBJZo8. "
