Three birds are depicted on a grassy hilltop with mountains populating the background. The bird on the left crouches forward while the two birds on the right stand upright and alert. The bird on the far right is completely white, and the other two birds have white edged wings with black and yellow striping on their bodies. This patterning is more pronounced on the left bird.
This image is created with black ink on yellowed paper. It represents a group of three figures in the lower right of the image, standing in front of a fence. Behind the fence a leafless tree rises at the right and the roof of a building topped by a birdhouse on stilts rises at the left. Three birds fly above the birdhouse and two are seated on it.
