At the right of the street are power lines, a rail car, and Sloss Furnaces (including a casting ched, a blast furnace, and a series of smokestacks and cooling towers). The sky in the image is clouded with smog.

A black and white photograph of pieces of drift wood amongst a natural dip or pool in the rocks. The bright and light colored pieces of wood stand out against the dark and smooth rocks. An indented oval shape in the rocks resembles an eye.
