Large clay jar of bulbous shape with long neck, incised around the body with a ring of six stylized skulls in profile separated by circles, with fire clouds and orange-pink discoloration from the original open firing and extensive use as a cooking vessel, the interior especially sooted from use, the lip around the top with small, incised tick marks typical of Gulf Coast native pottery.
Large spruce root basket; folded; weave is tighter at the top; two thong handles. Inside are some fragments of cedar bark basket.
