- Provenance Florence Cornelia Gilbert Day (b. November 8, 1968, Gadsden, Alabama - d. June 27, 1952, Birmingham); by descent to her granddaughter, Martha Florence Day (Burks) Quail, New Orleans, Louisiana (b. October 10, 1930, Birmingham, Alabama); gift of the aforementioned to the Birmingham Museum of Art (December 17, 2002).
